Pirates of the Caribbean 4 Movie Review (2011)

The latest addition to the Multi-million Dollar Pirates of the Caribbean franchise has a new director at the helm, Rob Marshall (Chicago, Nine). Also on this adventure we lose Keira Knightly and Orlando Bloom but gain Penelope Cruz as Angelica and Ian McShane as her father Blackbeard the Pirate.
Similar to the last two sequels the plot again suffers from being overly complex for this type of thing and is one of the reasons that this franchise has been taking on water in its last couple of outings. Read more »
